After landing in Pokhara airport, we will have a 1 hour and 20 minutes drive to Naya Pul, where we will begin our trek. We will pass through beautiful forests, sometimes on the carvel trail on the side of the cliff. We will cross the Bhurungdi river to the village of Tikhedhunga, after lunch. Day 4Ulleri to Ghorepani (2,750m/9,020 ft): 4 - 5 hours trek

We will ascend to Ghorepani village, after having our breakfast. Ghorepani is an interesting place where the locals put on small shops and stalls to sell their local products and crafts. The town consists of two parts: one in a saddle and the other a few hundred feet lower. We will be stopping at the higher part of Ghorepani village that will offer spectacular panoramic views of the surrounding mountains, which will include Annapurna South and Nilgiri mountains. The higher altitude of Ghorepani will begin to feel chilly come evening. We stay the night in Ghorepani.

We will make an early morning ascend along the steep trail to our destination, Poon Hill (3,210m), to catch the sunrise over the Himalayas. It is a fantastic pint to observe and enjoy the amazing views of Mustang, Pokhara and more than 20 of the highest mountains (including the close view of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges). The peaks covered with snow will surround us with glowing morning light. We will take photographs and have coffee or tea or hot beverage and return back to Ghorepani. After breakfast, we will be heading east and climb a nearby bridge. We start our descent through the red rhododendron forests, pass by thrilling waterfalls along the way and reach our destination where we will be spending our night, Tadapani.

Day 6Tadapani to Chhomrong (2170m/7120ft): 6 hours trek

Our trek here starts with a descent through a large Rhododendron forest. Our trail opens up to beautiful terraced fields as the forest trail comes to an end. From here, we will climb uphill for about 5 km and pass waterfalls and reach a suspension bridge (very common in hilly and mountainous regions of Nepal). We ascend a few more miles and downhill again before reaching our destination for the day, Chhomrang. Chhomrang is a beautiful village right below the massive Annapurna. We stay the night in Chhomrang.
Included meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 7Chhomrong to Bamboo (2310m/7578ft): 4 - 5 hours

We make our way down via 2500 stone steps and cross the bridge over Chhomrong Khola. From here, we climb up to Sinuwa. After that, we pass through a beautiful forest to Kuldihar. Next, it is an easy downhill walk to Bamboo. We stay overnight in Bamboo.
Included meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 8Bamboo to Deurali (3230m/10,595ft): 3 - 4 hours

We pass through a bamboo forest, which is damp and cold, then make our way up steadily with a few steep sections. The way up is a steep climb through a drier forest before reaching Hinku Cave. From here, we can see the trail drop closer to the river before climbing again to Deurali, the most scenic stretch of the day. The vegetation is scattered, allowing incredible views of the valley, the river below, and the sheer rock-face cliffs above with bands of wispy waterfalls. We stay overnight in Deurali.
Included meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 9Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp (4,130m/13,545ft) via Machhapuchhre Base Camp (3700m/12135ft): 5- 6 hours

We climb gently through a river bed then over a steep trail over the mountain side, as the hike to Machhapuchhre Base Camp requires great effort. From Machhapuchhre Base Camp, we get outstanding and rewarding views (for our effort) of the majestic Machhapuchhre along with other mountains such as Mt. Hiunchuli, Annapurna South, Annapurna I, Annapurna III, Gandharvachuli and Gangapurna. The path widens as we make our way to the Annapurna sanctuary, from where we get sensational views of almost vertical south face of Annapurna facing us. From here, we get to take in the mesmerizing views of the mountains once again. We stay overnight at Annapurna Base Camp.
Included meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 10Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo: 7 – 8 hours

From Annapurna Base Camp, we make our way back towards Bamboo. The trek is downhill, so it should not be a tedious one. We will have the serene landscape of the mountains to accompany us. We stay overnight in Bamboo.
Included meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 11Bamboo to Jhinu Danda (1760m/5770 ft): 5 - 6 hours

From Bamboo, it is a trek upwards to Kuldighar followed by a downhill walk to Chhomrong Khola. Then we climb the stone steps down to Chhomrong. After that, the trail descends to Jhinu Danda, where we will rest for the night. Today, we will have an opportunity to enjoy the hot springs, which is just a 15-20 minute downhill walk from Jhinu Danda, to soothe our aching body. We stay overnight in Jhinu Danda.
Included meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 12Trek to Naya Pul then drive to Pokhara: 6 hours trek, 1 hour drive
