Khopra Ridge Community Trek provides a remarkable scenery of the Himalayas including Dhaulagiri range, Annapurna South Fang and Nilgiri. The Khopra Ridge is based away from the trails of the famous Annapurna region. One of Khopra Ridge Community Trek’s main attractions is the holy lake of Kaire. In order to find this holy lake takes a little bit of wandering around but the little adventure is every bit worth it.

The trek begins in the capital of Nepal, Kathmandu, where we visit UNESCO World Heritage Sites; including Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa and others. We take a flight to Pokhara the next day enjoying the aerial view of Nepal. Following our flight, we will drive to Syauli Bazaar and start our exciting trek from there. We will make our way out of the main trail after Tadapani and for upcoming few days walk along a remote trail whilst staying at local community tea-houses.

The 13 day Khopa Ridge Community Trek is bound to be exciting for people who wish to enjoy the Mount Annapurna while also enjoying the vibe of a more remote trail. The trek will be worth every second as the journey is full of exciting unique heritage, culture and gorgeous landscapes.

Itinerary

Day 1Arrival in Kathmandu (1,300m/4,264ft)

Upon your arrival, a team member representing Unleash Nepal Treks & Adventure will pick you up from the airport and take you to the hotel. In the evening, you will attend a welcome dinner, where you will be served authentic Nepalese cuisine that will introduce you to Nepal’s food culture, at the hotel hosted by Unleash Nepal Treks & Adventure. You will stay the night in Kathmandu.

Day 2Kathmandu: Sightseeing and trek Preparation

We will have a guided tour of several of the most historical and spiritual attractions of Kathmandu, which are are listed as UNESCO World Heritage Sites. We will be visiting Durbar Square, sacred Hindu temple Pashupatinath, the famous Swayambhunath (also known as ‘Monkey Temple’) and Boudhanath, which is one of the largest stupas in the world. Afternoon, We will get our equipment checked at night by our leader, get and be introduced to our fellow trekkers and discuss our trip. We stay the night in Kathmandu.

Day 3Fly to Pokhara, drive to Syauli Bazaar and trek to Ghandruk: 30 mins flight, 2 hours drive and 3 hours trek

We will be flying to Pokhara early in the morning. We are able to catch superb views of the range of mountains from the proper aspect of our heavier-than-air craft. Day 4Ghandruk to Tadapani (2,590m/8,497ft) 3-4 hours

Day 5Tadapani to Dobato (3,350m/10,990ft): 4-5 hours

Day 10Trek to Ulleri (2,050 m/6,725 ft): 5-6 hours

From Swanta, we will descend through the village fields to a little watercourse and take a fast scrutinize the native mill. After Ghorepani, we tend to descend through rhododendron forest to Ulleri where we stay the night.

Day 11Trek to Naya Pul then drive to Pokhara: 5-6 hours trek, 1 hour drive

We get to enjoy the amazing hill landscape of western Nepal, on our way to Naya Pul from Jhinu Danda. We will have lunch on the way. The trek will conclude at Naya Pul, from where we drive to Pokhara. We stay overnight in Pokhara.

Day 12Sightseeing in Pokhara then fly to Kathmandu

Early in the morning, we leave our hotel to go visit Shanti Stupa. Shanti Stupa is a Buddhist Stupa ranked as the top second attraction of Pokhara. While here, we tend to relish wonderful view of the sun as it rises from the mighty Himalaya Mountains. We will then make the most out of Pokhara by visiting the city’s landmarks as well as Davis Falls, Shiva Cave and the International Mountain repository (IMM). We tend to conjointly do some boating in Phewa Lake, the largest lake in Pokhara and visit Bindyabasini Temple settled at the middle of the lake. We will then fly to Kathmandu in late afternoon after successfully roaming around the lake city. Day 13Final departure
